A livery for the Microsoft/Carenado Beechcraft D17 Staggerwing based on the first of the two Staggerwings the Finnish Air Force had. The BC-1, nicknamed "Kalle-Kustaa", was flown by the Finnish Air Force between 1940 and 1945.
Please keep in mind that the swastika present in this livery belongs to the Finnish Air Force (first used in 1918) and is completely unrelated to Nazis and their ideology.
This livery now comes with a beige interior. There is also an alternative download without the custom interior for those who prefer it.
As me being German I may kindly ask to remove the symbol. I still carry the burdon of my anchestors today.Though myself I never am or will be antisemistic. I get all your points of the livery being historically accurate...used by finish first etc. But this symbol is most famous for what Nazis used it for. If you want to fly with it, fly it for yourself. But why the need to publish it?

As a German myself I carry no burdon at all. Stop embarrasing us as a country with your statements.
If you don't like it just don't download it. Move along.

Wow people are stupid.
Yes MSFS is very popular under the neo-nazis. They play MSFS all day and pretend to invade countries and bomb them if they don't submit.
Folks open a history book once in a while.

I hope people would know the facts before saying anything.
This swastika was used by the Finnish Airforce in 1918 and is not nazi related. a swede delivered a combat aircraft with swastika to finland in 1918 and it was there for good luck as the swede had thought. After that Finnish airforce started to use it on all military aircraft till 1945.
Great livery!

Let’s acknowledge that this symbol, a swastika facing clockwise, is a sensitive one that evokes lived and inter-generational trauma in many. I understand it is Finnish and not related to Nazi murderers, but let’s be sensitive to people’s feelings. I physically recoiled when I saw this in the uploads, then read and understood further. Sensitivity and history can coexist. Be kind.

I think it's absolutely ok to recoil from this symbol. And there's no shame attached to not knowing the swastika was used by the Finnish Air Force.
I just don't like that people automatically assumed something neferious was going on and start villifying the modder.
With todays access to instant information EVERYONE would have had the opportunity to take the creator's title (depicting it as Finnish) and looking it up on the internet to find out there was no Nazi correlation in this case.

Don't see the point in the warning about this content being "offensive", it's just history, the real one, that cannot be changed

All these history experts, yet none in the history of language or symbols. Words and symbols change in meaning and representation. It's just fact. Yes, it was a benign symbol first. Unfortunately, now it's not. If that hurts, it's just another thing you can thank the Nazis for.
The symbol has unjustly evolved into a symbol of violent hatred. Sorry, but that's the reality of the world. Surely you know of many other words and symbols whose meanings have evolved into something completely different in usage than when they were first written.
We can't give actual supporters of this ideology a cover of plausible deniability by condoning the use of the symbol in the name of butwhatabouthistory.
It is what it is. You don't have to like it, but you can stop being iamverysmart edgelords about it.
Creator is either skilled in the art of trolling or a white supremacist or ignorant. Creator can choose.
EDIT: Removed "until proven otherwise," because it gave commenters a way to deflect.

I have no problem with this paint at all. People who do, obviously do not bother to read previous explanations about the symbol on the aircraft before posting and exposing their stupidity.

Some people want historical stuff yet have no respect for history at all. The swastika has been around since about 500BCE. It is a part of history and we can't just ignore it. Yes it can be offensive in reference to the Nazis however it dates back to India and Asia and so doesn't really mean that. It provides luck, good health and fortune. The Nazi one is rotated 45 degrees. I think people who download things from history should respect where they come from and do their research. I support the creator for his decision to support history and not ignore. KUDOS!

Hey folks, as others have said please understand that the Finnish air forced used this symbol (NOT at all related to Nazi Germany) all the way up until 2017 in many places! Practically any historically accurate Finnish air force livery is going to have one. It is not at all intended as a symbol of hate when used by Finland.

Hey hey to everyone here. This flag on the finnish airforce was used already by 1918 before the nazis, you can google it yes this flag is still part of the finnish airforce parades as a flag. THIS IS NOT NAZI RELATED AT ALL.

Latvia also used the Swastika as a roundel from 1918 to 1940. No Nazi connection either. Nor have celtic artifacts or Hindu temples.

Finland was using Swastika before the WWII and the nazies. Please, check the facts first
P.S. To the dislikers. If you don't know I was also kinda shocked when during the German update we got "proudly presented" with Ju-52, since I knew how much this plane was connected to Nazi Germany in the first place. I may be a history nerd at some point, but I knew exactly that people would request nazi repaints as soon as possible perhaps just thinking they look "cool" or even have some malicious intents. I know how much some people want to rewrite the history in the West and about the rise of the far right and white nationalism. I am totally against those things. But in this particular case this is not connected to it.

The painting job is poor as well... why this website allows this? where are the moderators?

Other than the obvious blue and white symbol you disagree with, what aspect of the livery do you find needs improvement the most? Good faith criticism is welcome.
