A classic in its own right! Based on in-real-life N930JD, this livery harkens back to the Sky King TV show with its Songbird II name. Of course, some creative liberties were taken here as the actual aircraft is of the Q variety and this is for the R iteration. Enjoy cruising around in the air around the countryside with classy cherry wood paneling!
UPDATE Version 1.1 - Minor correction to a texture and added COMP files to give paint a little shine.

Love the Sky King series which I am now watching in a newly acquired DVD set. He is still using the T50 (original Songbird) so far. I believe the C310 they used later was a "B" model since the "Q" did not come out until the 70's. The credits indicate it was a "B" model anyway. I apologize if I misread your description. Anyhow, anything related to the series is much appreciated. I know the "B" model is not available in MSFS so painting the R with the Songbird name is still a nice touch. Thanks!

I know Sky King had several liveries and planes. Is this livery close to one of them, or just a general representation? It is pretty.

It's the Songbird II variant, which I'm sure was inspired by the original Sky King Songbird. There's also a Songbird III which seems to hew closer to the original than II here does.
I may tackle the Sky King version someday if someone else doesn't do it yet.

Great livery - thank you! Love the cherry wood panels. One note for the next update: there are some screw heads on the copilot side with the wooden pattern over them.
