Better Cameras for Microsoft Junkers Ju 52/3m - 1.0
With the Ju 52 I was very happy with the Instrument views, but still again changed all the Cockpit views to my taste. This package provides the changed camera views for all four versions of the plane.
- the "120° Right" view will simulate the pilot leaning down and peeking into the passenger cabin.
- the "120° Left" view will simulate the pilot leaning forwards and turning to the left in order to have and look aft over the port wing.
- the "45° Right" and "45° Left" views give you a slight downward angle and also have the pilot lean in the respective direction to get a better view
- the "Cockpit" and "Landing Pilot" views have been tweaked slightly for better visibility of the instruments. The two altimeters are always slightly obscured by the steering column. You have to deactivate that if it bothers you. I tried several ways to look over the column but it didn't look natural.
- the "Down" view will give you a view of the instrument panel and the throttle quadrant.
- I left the respective instrument views alone since I found them to be quite excellent. I especially like the two views at the port and starbord engine fuel gauges on the cowlings.

Very useful, as usual. Thank you.

Thanks alot for this.
The best part is that if I look to the left from the pilot seat, I can see the engine now.
In the default view, the head is too far backwards.
However, I'd like to move the pilot's head a bit more forward without using the zoom function in the settings.
Could you tell me which value in the camera.cfg file should I change to move the Pilot camera a bit more forwards?
I want to do this so that when I look towards the left, I can see out the window, including some part of the wings.
Right now, I can mainly see the frame of the plane if I look to the sides

Yeah sure. The value you're looking for is called: "InitialXyz". There are three values there. The last one is for the position on the longitudinal axis. Be aware that changing this will screw up your view of the cockpit, so you will probably have to change the zoom and viewing angle too.

Are we going to be seeing some panel changes Archer ? 😋
I mean a dark panel instead of white, and maybe the center slider panels too 😉

I wasn't planning on that. But if you like you can open a request in the Request section and we'll see if there's a "market" for that. :-)
