Das Fort Asterstein war Teil der preußischen Festung Koblenz und gehörte zum System Pfaffendorfer Höhe. Von dem in den 1820er Jahren erbauten und in den 1920er Jahren teilweise geschleiften Fort ist im heutigen Koblenzer Stadtteil Asterstein, für den es namensgebend war, noch das Reduit vollständig erhalten geblieben.
Die Feste Kaiser Franz, auch Feste Franz genannt, war Teil der preußischen Festung Koblenz und das Hauptwerk des Systems Feste Kaiser Franz. Die Festung auf dem Petersberg im heutigen Koblenzer Stadtteil Lützel wurde 1822 fertiggestellt. Nach ihrer Schleifung 1922 wurden große Überreste des Festungswerks 1959 gesprengt. Erhalten geblieben sind die beiden seitlichen Enden des halbkreisförmigen Reduits und der Kehlturm am Fuße des Petersbergs. Sie erhielt ihren Namen nach dem österreichischen Kaiser Franz I., einem Verbündeten Preußens in der Heiligen Allianz gegen Napoleon in den Befreiungskriegen.
Die Ruine der Burg Sayn, der im 12. Jahrhundert erbauten Stammburg der Grafen von Sayn bzw. Sayn-Wittgenstein, liegt im Stadtteil Sayn von Bendorf am Rhein zwischen Koblenz und Neuwied im Landkreis Mayen-Koblenz in Rheinland-Pfalz.
Schloss Sayn ist ein Schloss am Fuß des Burgbergs der Burg Sayn, am Ortseingang von Sayn, einem Stadtteil von Bendorf im Landkreis Mayen-Koblenz.
Das Schloss Engers liegt unmittelbar am Rhein im Neuwieder Stadtteil Engers in Rheinland-Pfalz. Der Trierer Erzbischof und Kurfürst Johann Philipp von Walderdorff ließ es zwischen 1759 und 1764 als Jagd-, Lust- und Sommerschloss nach Plänen von Johannes Seiz erbauen. Das spätbarocke Schlossgebäude beheimatet heute die Geschäftsstelle der Landesmusik-Stiftung Villa Musica, einen Museumsbereich mit alten Musikinstrumenten und Gemälden kurtrierischer Fürsten sowie im Schlosskeller ein Restaurant.
Das Schloss Martinsburg, kurz Martinsburg oder auch Martinsschloss genannt, ist eine Schlossanlage in Lahnstein. Sie wurde 1298 als Zollburg der Erzbischöfe von Mainz errichtet und trug ursprünglich den Namen Burg Lahnstein. Der Mainzer Erzbischof erbaute neben der Stadtmauer in Lahnstein auch diese Anlage, die eine der wenigen unzerstörten Burgen am Mittelrhein ist. Sie befindet sich heute in Privatbesitz und beherbergt neben Wohnungen und Büros ein Fastnachtsmuseum sowie eine Münzprägeanstalt.
Die Alte Burg Koblenz ist eine ehemalige kurfürstliche Burg in Koblenz aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Als Niederungsburg steht sie in der Ortslage der Altstadt von Koblenz am Ufer der Mosel neben der Balduinbrücke. Erhalten geblieben ist nur noch das Burghaus, das heute das Stadtarchiv beherbergt.

Engers Castle is located directly on the Rhine in the Neuwied district of Engers in Rhineland-Palatinate. The Archbishop of Trier and Elector Johann Philipp von Walderdorff had it built between 1759 and 1764 as a hunting, pleasure and summer palace according to plans by Johannes Seiz. The late baroque palace building is now home to the office of the Landesmusik Foundation Villa Musica, a museum area with old musical instruments and paintings of electoral Trier princes and a restaurant in the palace cellar.
Martinsburg Castle, or Martinsburg for short, is a castle complex in Lahnstein. It was built in 1298 as a customs castle for the Archbishops of Mainz and was originally called Burg Lahnstein. In addition to the city wall in Lahnstein, the Archbishop of Mainz also built this complex, which is one of the few undamaged castles on the Middle Rhine. Today it is privately owned and houses apartments and offices as well as a carnival museum and a mint.
The Old Castle Koblenz is a former electoral castle in Koblenz from the 13th century. As a Niederungsburg it is located in the old town of Koblenz on the banks of the Moselle next to the Balduin Bridge. Only the castle house, which today houses the city archive, has been preserved.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die Hochsee-Kreuzfahrtschiffe am Peter-Altmeier- und Konrad -Adenauer-Ufer zu entfernen ? Das Deutschland-update hat die wohl von Bremerhaven nach Koblenz verlegt.....
