This folder contains a repaint for the Beechcraft D17 Staggerwing for MSFS by Carenado, in the colors of Beech Staggerwing A-39-1. C/n 248, it was the former NC19478. It was registered VH-ACU 1939 till 1941, when it was impressed into RAAF service. It had a taxying accident 06/08/41, when it taxied into boundary markers and the port wheel was damaged. After the war, it was sold in may 1945 to Brown and Dureau for 1350 pounds and registered VH-ACU between 1946 to 1974. It was at the Air World Wangaratta Museum, Victoria in the early 80's, but was sold again and restored to flying condition. It is still airworthy, currently registered as VH-AME.
