A recreation of the salt air's half day tour of cape reinga, starting at Kerikeri airport (NZKK) with the first leg ending at salt air's private airstrip at waitiki landing (NZSA), and returning back to Kerikeri. With this trip you get to see all the wonderous sights the far north has to offer.
installation is simple, copy to the community folder, or use a mod manager.
have tested with latest patch and seems to work just fine, but let me know of any issues encountered. this is my first bush and hopefully not my last, I have every intetion of making bush trips based off salt airs helicopter tours of the bay of islands when helicopters are nativley supported in the sim so that everyone can enjoy them. I am in no way endorsed or supported by Salt Air, im just a big fan of their tours and feel that everyone should experince them IRL or in the sim. so if anyone ever comes to NZ or lives here and hasent expereienced the far north I suggest you do, its well worth it.
It's great that tour companies share their trips for free and advertise at the same time. But landing a fat Cessna caravan on a short grass runway that is very hard to spot, right after a downhill and a bunch of trees... Brought back PTSD from Official bushtrip in the French Alps. Is that the plane you use on the tour? Please share some approach tip... Also first time the runway area didn't load went offline and I crashed, now I restart the leg... at 13000 feet almost on top of the runway! I have to circle down like in a fighter jet, maybe that's why I kept crashing, might have lost some pieces of the aircraft in the loops... why 13000 feet?
EDIT: Managed to land, with a few bumps lol! I guess with this heavy aircraft you need to keep some airspeed as it stalls easily. It should also help with bumping although it's quite difficult to reduce vertical speed when the beginning of the runway is after a hill with trees... maybe just aim for half the runway and rely on brakes? Since it's not your aircraft, bumping also works as long as you manage to keep the plane level...
The second part of the trip is totally worth the landing challenge, with a succession of amazing landscapes... It might be the bush trip with the most wow per minute, so I totally understand why Rizzeld wanted to share it despite not being from the touring company (acknowledged!). Check the Salt air website for some beautiful photos and don't hesitate to wander around. Rizzeld made the extra effort to add a photo for each way-point so you never get lost, so don't just go straight. Double thanks and help it get the better rating it deserves!
For Rizzeld: For your next update maybe the Cessna 172 (g1000 in the standard edition) would be more suitable/easier for this tricky grass runway? The cessna 208 does look like the GA8 but it weights double and has a less forgiving stall speed. I didn't find an equivalent in present edition, but I'm not an expert at all, so get more feedback!

Very enjoyable trip. Just what I wanted and no problems with this simple two leg Bush Trip. Great for simple VFR navigation and a bush runway with some difficulty. Highly recommend it and not sure what others problem are but don't listen to them, just download it and fly it. Give the creator some love!

Sparky147, you really are the biggest troll in the community. It is well known that MSFS does not display waypoints correctly if they are roundtips. So you have to delete the MSFS then!
To give a half star to a VFR bus trip because of a CDI issue shows incredible disrespect to any creator who spends their free time providing free missions to the community.
If you can do it better, then create missions in your spare time and make them available for free. You will quickly see how much work this is and how demotivating unobjective reviews and such exaggerated bad ratings are. I am curious about your creations and look forward to testing and evaluating them. But I think the hope is in vain and you are not able to do so.

It doesn't make sense. When you load the flight the CDI shows flying from POI 1 to NZKK . Should that not be the other way around?

odd, when I load in it shows it correctly, if anyone else has had this issue let me know
