Here is Abilene, Texas, USA rendered in glorious 3D photogrammetry. :) In the interest of keeping memory usage footprint down, I've so far included the center area of the city only, roughly bordered on the north by Interstate 20, to the east by Treadaway Blvd, and to the south and west by Highways 83/84. I plan to extend the coverage area further east and south soon and package everything in individual area directories so that everyone can properly manage the scenery on their own computer systems; i.e., if one experiences stuttering or memory usage problems, they can simply delete an area of coverage (via eliminatinng an area directory in the community folder).
Also, I've used all the tools I could find to optimize the scenery for maximum frame rates and as minimal memory usage as possible.
Installation:
Copy all THREE directories in this archive into your requisite community folder. The directories included in this package are:
otis-abilene-south
otis-abilene-north
ot-scene-abilene-citylights

Nightlighting has been added on most downtown buildings, Hendrick Hospital Complex, Hardin-Simmons University, and McMurry University. Unfortunately, it's not yet possible to make photogrammetry objects illuminate from the inside (i.e., lighted windows, but I've nevertheless tried to replicate 'urban splashes' of light on buildings to keep night flying fun and interesting over the city. I've additionally kept the lighting subtle enough to avoid going overboard and making everything unrealistic.
Finally, I know Abilene looks like it was hit by a Zombie Apocalypse whist you are flying over it, but that's just Abilene. :)
