Presenting The A320 Neo in the colours of Eirjet, a mayfly Irish charter airline which began operations in December 2004 only to cease less than two years later, folding in October 2006. The airline operated a total of four Airbus A320-200 aircraft out of its home airport, Shannon as well as Dublin and Cork, to various holiday destinations around Europe. In 2006 the airline made headlines when a flight it made on behalf of Ryanair from Liverpool landed at an RAF base a short distance from it's intended destination City of Derry Airport by accident.

Eirjet's colours were in fact green and white, generally sporting a plain white livery and green tail on their planes. However, two of the A320s operated by the airline were leased from Air Jamaica, including regisration EI-DKG which I have recreated here. Rather than repaint them they chose to keep the rainbow livery, simply covering up Air Jamaica's marks and adapting a blue version of the Eirjet logo to fit the colourscheme. (Admitedly I was most of the way through painting this before I realised the Air Jamaica connection so I will have to adapt it for a proper Air Jamaica look so as to not have the only example of this spectacular paintscheme available be the failed knockoff version).
