Problem matching addons to download pages
Most developers really co-operate to identify just what their addon is, and what it does, by the title of the addon itself. Unfortunately, some don't, with no relationship between the flightsim.to entry, and the addon physical name.
I apologise ahead of time to the developer who has submitted this, but I don’t think it’s his/her fault.
The problem is that there doesn’t appear to be any way to “get back” to the particular addon given just the addon file name, and this is not necessarily clear in the existing documentation, Basically, without having the attachment name associated with the actual descriptor name, or the descriptor name actually identifying just what the addon is all about, it’s pretty difficult to identify what some of these addons are there for, as you can’t do it using any of the search bars that I’ve managed to find. (It was once a field in the “My Downloads” listing, but that has changed from a dimple listing of useful information (including the addon file name) regarding each addon to a pretty picture, and not much else. Nice, but not very useful, I’m afraid.
This is an example, but there are others in a similar state of obscurity.
Example: “update_1.06.3_LU430”, contains: 2,813 files, in 628 folders.
There are:
-hello.txt, (see image attached)
-readme.txt (see image)
-INSTALLATION.TXT (see ….)
None of these actually helps in identifying what the addon does.
