This flight is based on the excellent bush trip by WFrayer here on Flightsim.to Roswell UFO Incident » Microsoft Flight Simulator, Because it is such a fun, simple trip we, that is Frontech and ProfSC, thought this would be a fine trip to work out the idea of creating a trip without GPS navigation.

Navigation, back to the days that VFR was VFR and you could use a beacon the determine where you were flying. If there were no landmarks available. Soon we came to create a trip solely based on flying from VOR to VOR.

We discussed this and after getting permission from WFrayer to use his original trip we set out to realise this trip.

We have chosen for a Cessna 152 because this plane has two VOR radios. You have to do some cross flying on the radials of the VORs. There no GPS available, not even after you change to an aircraft which is equipped with GPS receivers.

Recommended is Roswell UFO Crash Site » Microsoft Flight Simulator for a great scenery of the crash site.

We have enhanced the trip with our thoughts but it is still basically the trip and layout of WFrayer. It shows when different people look at the same thing there can be a different outcome.

·         The trip is 89 nm long and consists of one leg.

·         You start at the parking with the plane cold and dark.

·         The weather is adjustable.

·         The trip is multilingual through machine translation. The languages Chinese, Japanese and Norwegian are not available.

First of all, Special Thanks to WFrayer.for allowing us to mistreat his bush trip.
Thanks to FlightSimDeck for the scenery.
Thanks to BuffyGC for BushTripInjector and to Alexander Barthel for Little Navmap.

And we thank each other for the cooperation in this project.
